Satellite 6™
Description
The Satellite 6™ is a fully automated battery
charger and conditioner ideally suited for areas which have tough environments, confidence in the battery is critical, and long term savings are necessary.

The Satellite 6™ automatically discharges nickel based
batteries down to the manufacturers recommended level, then charges
the battery. This help eliminate the common "memory effect" problem.
If the battery does not meet the customers specified capacity,
the Satellite 6™ can be set up to automatically perform a recondition
cycle. Therefore, the battery is reconditioned only when required,
allowing it to stay where it should, in the field. If the battery
does not meet the required capacity, it will be identified as
bad, and can then be sent in for further analysis.

The
Satellite
6™ and the Enterprise
3000™ are tools ideally suited to work together. The
Enterprise will set up new batteries and prepare them for use
in the field. The Satellite 6™ will work to maintain the
batteries through proper cycling, and automatically reconditioning
them whenever needed. With the customer specified, factory configured
set point for automatic reconditioning, "good batteries"
will be quickly identified by the operator and can be sent in
for analysis. This process eliminates the logistics of having
to send in the batteries for periodic maintenance or reconditioning.
The batteries can be analyzed on the Enterprise 3000™,
recovered if possible, history recorded and logged. The Enterprise
3000™ and the Satellite 6™ working in conjunction,
will help to keep inventories down while increasing the life
expectancy of your batteries.
